| Nurse-Family Partnership attacks the problems of poverty by providing nurses to visit low-income, first-time mothers at least twice a month from early pregnancy until their children’s second birthdays. These nurses teach the fundamentals of good parenting, offer encouragement and mentoring to new mothers, and consistently monitor the health and well-being of the child. |
